A história é a seguinte: Início dos anos 90, na era do Plano Collor, da escuridão pré-internet, pré-celular, pré-câmeras digitais e pré-MP3. Operadores de Mercado Financeiro do Banco Bamerindus não tinham o que fazer pra matar o tempo em dias de vacas magras, poupanças confiscadas e de mercado totalmente parado. Toda ligação errada que por engano caía na mesa de operações proporcionava um alvoroço e quase sempre rendia um belo trote na mão dos sacanas operadores desocupados. E foi exatamente isso que aconteceu nesta filial carioca da corretora do liquidado banco paranaense. Luiz Pareto, "adêvogado", ligou para a TELERJ a fim de reclamar de um defeito em sua linha telefônica. Para seu azar a ligação caiu nessa mesa de operações financeiras - que por questão de segurança tinha todas as suas linhas gravadas - e o cidadão se tornou protagonista do melhor trote que se tem registro.
